Creating a portfolio website using Divi in just under 1 hr

Are you a freelancer or just want to have a beautifully minimalistic portfolio website online to showcase your work? I am sharing a step-by-step video on how to create a beautifully minimalistic portfolio using Divi, from Elegant Themes. I am also giving it away for FREE so you can scroll all the way down, where you will find all the JSON, Sketch and Code files I’ve used to create this Minimalistic Portfolio website.

What are you going to need to build this portfolio website?

I have made it very simple for you to have your own Minimalistic Portfolio website. In this video, I am showing you how to edit the header of your website, footer and other elements to match the design. However, all you really have to do is import the JSON file into Divi’s library. From there, all you have to do is apply it on each individual page. As a result, for you to create your beautiful minimalistic portfolio website using Divi and a few CSS customizations.

Here is all that you will need:

1. Have a domain name and Install WordPress
2. Have Divi installed
3. I would strongly recommend a Divi Child theme. You can make one in just a few minutes by clicking here
4. Understand Basic HTML and CSS
. Optimize your portfolio Images and content
5. Link each image to its respective portfolio page

Quick Tip:

Whenever you are writing content for your website, blog or case studies, try to use HTML tags. Once you have opened and closed all the respected tags, make sure to copy it and paste it using the ‘Text’ in your Divi text module. This will save you a lot of time in the long run.

Updates to come:

  • Creating a hovering effect on each image using CSS
